The IPsec VPN service provides access to LLNL resources for people who use their own Internet Service Provider (ISP) or connect from another site. The service supports Internet Protocol (IP) only. The supported operating systems are Windows, Mac OS X, and with limited UNIX support (Solaris/Linux). You must install the VPN client software on your system to use this service. Using this service, you can access all LLNL resources as if you were on-site. Endpoint protection (antivirus, anti-spyware, and other protection) is available for home use for remote access users.

Some accounts may require LLNL CSO approval. Please contact your OISSO for more information.

Your remote session will be disconnected if your session is inactive for over 15 minutes or the 12 hour session expires. You may reconnect at any time to renew your 12 hour limit.
